TREKKING TOUR: CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK 02 DAYS
Cuc Phuong - top VietNam tours destination - is 100 km southwest of Hanoi. It lies at the border of 3 provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa, and is 60 km from the sea. The forest is 25000 ha in area, of which one-third is limestone mountains from 300 to 600 metres high against the sea level.
Day 1: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong national park, ovenight in the park. (L, D)
07:00 - Depart from Hanoi by car/ bus to Cuc Phuong National Park. Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre to learn about the important work being done to help protect the endangered species of the park.
11h30: have lunch in the restaurant in the park, trek 04 hours more through the old rain forest. Overnight in the guesthouse in the park.
Day 2: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Hanoi ( B, L)
After breakfast, go by bus to the historic capital of Viet Nam and the famous ancient temples of Le and The Dinh Dynasties.
You will cycle for an hour through villages and rice fields to Tam Coc, it is about 10 km. Have lunch in the restaurant.
13.30 - 15 minutes cycling on a country road takes you to Sunny Wharf, a small dock, for a sampan boat journey (1 hour) in the heart of "Inland Ha Long Bay". Take in the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone.
Stop for a short rest near a small shrine before returning to the boat and making your way back to the dock (1 hour). Cycle back to Tam Coc village.
16:00 - Drive back to Ha Noi. Tour ends around 18:00.
